The partners at Morris Owen Chartered Accountants are very pleased to announce that Jenna Wheeler will become a partner on 1st January 2021. Jenna joined the firm as a trainee Chartered Accountant in 2012 having previously spent time with them on a school work experience placement and a summer holiday post which followed. “The work experience placement seems a long time ago now and who would have thought that 14 years later I would be joining the partnership team!”
Jenna passed her final examinations to become a Chartered Accountant in July 2014 and since January 2017 has been working in the role of Client Manager.
“Whilst at Morris Owen I have worked with the Partners helping support many of the firm’s clients in varying aspects of their affairs.” Jenna explained “During the last 5 years or so I have had the opportunity to work with some of our largest businesses and as a result I have had exposure to some more complex issues. As well as being heavily involved in accounts and audit assignments, I have been involved with tax planning and general business advice.”
“I have also built a portfolio of business clients, advising them on all aspects of accountancy and tax. This has been a great time for me, really getting to see the whole client service and preparing me for next year. My aim now continues to be growing this portfolio and to support the Partners with our other business clients.”
Dave Bond, Senior Partner, comments “We are delighted that Jenna is joining the partnership and this can only strengthen our position as a leading firm of Independent Chartered Accountants in the area. A year after finishing her final exams, Jenna started to work alongside me which increased her client contact and the range of complexity that comes with running a portfolio. Having been a Client Manager for a number of years now, I am really pleased that Jenna is fulfilling the potential she has demonstrated throughout her time with the firm.”
Jenna will continue to work out of the Swindon office on Devizes Road and can be contacted on 01793 603900.
