Please join us in welcoming our two latest recruits, Millie and Hannah who have recently joined us as trainee accountants.
Millie and Hannah will spend the next two years working predominately in our Swindon office learning how to prepare accounts for small businesses and also starting to understand the basic techniques and processes of auditing. Alongside this they will be studying for the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification, this is done through monthly block release courses together with home study.
Both have previously spent time with us undertaking work experience whilst studying for their A levels – we all must have made a good impression on one another!
We are very proud of the fact that many of our qualified audit and accounts staff, and indeed most of the Partners here, started their careers in this way at Morris Owen. We wish Millie and Hannah the very best as they start their own accountancy journeys!
Millie professes to not having much free time between working and taking care of her two Rottweilers but recently enjoyed a 5 week season abroad job in Cyprus before embarking on her new career.
Hannah is in her spare time a dancer who is dedicated to Tap having achieved (ISTD) Advanced 2 and has in fact been taught by our very own client manager, Holly May.
